Mellowmuse Software was founded in 2008 by english musician and programmer Gary Newby. Gary has been involved professionally in music and software production since the mid 80's in both the U.K and Japan, and is responsible for all coding and design.

Free Updates

All plugin updates are free to our customers. A list of all releases is available here.

Purchasing

Credit card orders are processed securely via PayPal. Once your order has cleared you will be emailed instructions on downloading your license. Note that you do not need to be a member or sign up to use Paypal.

Refunds

All software sales are non-refundable. Please try out the demos of our software before purchasing, to make sure your system is compatible, and that our software meets your requirements.

Demo Versions

All Mellowmuse plugins run in demo mode if there is no license file present. The only limitation of demo mode, is the insertion of silence at random intervals after a few minutes of use. Purchasing and installing a license removes this limitation. It is not necessary to install the plugin again.

License

You may install each plug-in you purchase on up to 3 machines which you own at any one time. Licenses are non-transferable at present.

Plugin Formats

Our Windows plug-ins are XP SP2/Vista/Windows 7 compatible. Our Mac plug-ins are universal binary format, for OSX 10.4.x and upwards and will work on G4/G5 macs as well as Intel processor based models. All plug-ins are 32bit and 64bit compatible. A VST 2.4 or Audio Units compatible host is required. RTAS versions require Pro Tools 7.4 or higher, v8.01 or higher recommended.

Installation and Authorising

Simply place the license key file you download from our user area, into the same folder as the plugin to authorise it.

*December 2012 plugins updates and onwards now also allow licenses to be placed in the Mellowmuse "Licenses" folder instead of having to copy them to multiple plugin folders. The folder location is:
Windows: C:\Program Files\Mellowmuse\Licenses
Mac: /Library/Application Support/Mellowmuse/Licenses
