New Updates 08.05.10

The following updates are now available:

ATA v1.6
EQ1A v1.7
CP1A v1.7
IR1A v2.3
Mellowhead v2.3
CP2V v1.2

The main reason for another update so soon is this release fixes a problem where controls
could become unresponsive in some hosts.

EQ1A, CP1A and IR1A also have had a value readout added when the shift key is held,
and IR1A and Mellowhead now support customisable IR library location.

See our changes page for details of the individual updates, or download from the plugin's page.

Re: New Updates 08.05.10

Hi Gary, EQ and CP are very stable now, great

Only thing to report is shift click value readout is a bit buggy, only gives the correct reading when you change value with it held down is what I'm experiencing

best,
Tom

Re: New Updates 08.05.10

It's only meant to be active while the shift key is down.

Re: New Updates 08.05.10

What I meant was if you simply shift click on a knob to view the value, it gives a false reading until you move the knob then it gives the correct reading. Does that make sense?

Re: New Updates 08.05.10

Shift click works great, great for viewing the value.

I'm still finding a quick initial click either does nothing or adjusts a different knob, but is this just pro tools loading the plug in?

Best

Tom

Re: New Updates 08.05.10

I can't see that here on our 2.4 iMac, 10.5.8 system with PTLE 8.03 - much like yours.
Can you record this behavior in a short screen video or just a screen shot and send it to me?

Re: New Updates 08.05.10

Sorry for late reply Gary (post subscription would be handy ;-) )

I will try to do this and get it to you, needless to say it is not a major issue, but your quest for perfection is inspiring.

Re: New Updates 08.05.10

Thanks Tom,

I'm aware of the initial mouse down not registering in PT (you have to click again)
and I will post updates shortly.

I can't reproduce the issue where you say it "adjusts a different knob", your video doesn't appear to
show this either.

Re: New Updates 08.05.10

great, oh yes I didn't get that, that happens much more rarely, and I guess may not be an issue once the initial click is rectified. Let me know as soon as I can test it out!

Thanks

Re: New Updates 08.05.10

This has now been fixed. It was a hang over from a bug that was introduced in PT 8.0
the first click was only affected. I have updated all our plugins so hang tight while I get
all the updates posted.

Re: New Updates 08.05.10

Great look forward to it, I think it's really worthwhile fixing it and it helps when deep in the mix to have immediately responsive knobs.

They'll be up this week.
The new EQ is 4 band, strictly speaking, high/low shelf mid and high pass wink

The updates will definitely be out tomorrow: I like to put them all out at once which
has been holding things up - as well as EQ2V.
