Hi
Loving the improvements on the design but after installing it I opened up a PT file and the EQ's were totally different:
symptoms:
Most EQ values scrambled
LMF and LF are switched off
massive Low cut
(I think the low cut should default to the lowest value when you alt-click it?)
I quickly installed 1.2 and reopened the files, luckily my old eq's where there but on a file I saved they have permanently changed
If this bug isn't fixable could you make it so you can run 1.1/1.2 and 1.3 independently so I can keep my old EQing and start using 1.3?
Cheers
Tom

Hi Gary
Tried it this morning with the new installer and although the cut buttons are no longer on the EQ is still different, below is a screenshot of the 2 eqs

As you can see the EQ sound pretty different!
I'm using M-Powered 7.4.2
Any thoughts?

I don't believe i will be able to match the two versions any further as several
revisions went on behind the scenes - the best thing would be to finish your session
with older version - then start using 1.3 with new sessions, the dsp is the
same, so you don't loose anything doing it that way. Apologies for the inconvenience,
no further changes will occur like this to break backwards compatibility.

Thanks Gary
I'm happy to manually copy my values across, it's just good to know that there's no other option. I understand that with the change in the frequency values etc.. they might not have matched up. Maybe it is worth warning people who upgrade though, just a thought ,was a bit of a surprise sound wise!
Am enjoying the the EQ and Compressor very much

Tom
ps what do you mean by the dsp being the same? it doesn't have the same audio effect if that's what digital signal processing might mean!?

oh just to add, if this is the case any chance you could make it possible to run 1.2 and 1.3 independently? ie in the same session. maybe there could be some kind of "heritage" version of the 1.2?

Think i have this sorted now, there was some non-obviousness going on with the RTAS code,
i got 1.2 and 1.3 to match here - please download and give it a try again.

Hi Gary
It now comes up perfect apart from the LMF freq is slightly out, I'm assuming this is because the parameters were changed?
This is much easier to copy over values of just one thing so it's no problem
EQ is excellent IMO, it's fantastic the care you've taken over this.
